A Revisit to Wat Pak-Samutr School

On January 28, 2010, CULI’s Public Relations Committee together with CULI staff visited Wat Pak-Samutr School in Samutr Songkram. This is one of the projects the committee has organized since 2002 to contribute to society.
Wat Pak-Samutr School is a small school with only 35 students and 3 teachers. The school building is in poor condition and students are from low-income families. This was the second time CULI extended help to the school to make a difference to the lives of these underprivileged students (the first visit was in 2008) Thanks to the generosity of CULI’s people and friends, we could manage to give many needed items to the school. This time the school got a new refrigerator, bags of rice and money to be used for its luncheon program. Each student also got a scholarship of 500 Baht, sports gear, a backpack, a towel, stationery, learning materials and other items. A special lunch was also provided for all.
