The CARDIT 2026 Event, themed "Innovative Perspectives on Communication: CA-Informed Language Education for Teaching and Assessing Interaction," officially opened today (Thursday, 16 July 2026) in the Rajmontien Grand Ballroom, Montien Hotel Surawong Bangkok, and will continue through Saturday, 18 July 2026. The event is jointly organized by the Chulalongkorn University Language Institute, the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Prince of Songkla University, and partners in the field of Conversation Analysis (CA).

The opening ceremony was officiated by Associate Professor Dr. Jirada Wudthayagorn, Director of the Chulalongkorn University Language Institute; Dr. Panida Sukseemuang, Dean of the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Prince of Songkla University; and Associate Professor Dr. Muttanachai Suttipun, representative of the Faculty of Management Sciences, Prince of Songkla University, Hat Yai Campus. The event brought together scholars, researchers, educators, and Conversation Analysis (CA) practitioners from around the world to exchange knowledge and foster academic collaboration.
