From 15 to 17 June 2026, the Research Department of the Chulalongkorn University Language Institute (CULI) organized the Writing Boot Camp for Books and Research Publications at Neera Retreat Hotel, Nakhon Pathom. The event aimed to encourage CULI faculty members to pursue academic advancement and to raise awareness of the importance of continuous professional development in higher academic pathways.
The program featured two distinguished speakers. Associate Professor Dr. Fei Victor Lim from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, delivered a lecture titled “Improving Your Manuscript for Publication in Top-Tier Journals”, offering valuable insights into strengthening research manuscripts for international publication. Associate Professor Dr. Suphawat Pookcharoen from the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Thammasat University, delivered a lecture titled “Writing Textbooks and Academic Books: Principles and Techniques”, providing practical guidance on the principles and techniques of writing textbooks and academic books.
Throughout the Writing Boot Camp, participants worked intensively on their manuscripts, exchanged ideas, received constructive feedback, and engaged in a supportive academic writing community.
