🤝📚 Chulalongkorn University Language Institute Welcomes Study Visit from the North Eastern Thailand Scholastic Aptitude Test Center (NETSAT), Khon Kaen University
📅 On 29 June 2026, Chulalongkorn University Language Institute (CULI), led by Associate Professor Dr.Jirada Wudthayagorn, CULI Dorector, together with the Institute's administrators and staff, welcomed a delegation from the North Eastern Thailand Scholastic Aptitude Test Center (NETSAT), Bureau of Academic Administration and Development, Khon Kaen University for a study visit and knowledge exchange on organizational management, language testing and assessment, and academic service operations.
💡 As part of the visit, Assistant Professor Dr. Chulaporn Kongkaew gave a presentation on EZZAY, an AI-powered platform for English writing assessment and automated scoring. The platform was jointly developed with students from the Faculty of Engineering through a Chulalongkorn University research grant (Project No. 680125 135/68), leveraging the infrastructure of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Chula AI.
🌐 EZZAY was presented at two international academic conferences during the past academic year. A key innovation of the platform is its Adaptive Prompting technique, which attracted considerable interest from the visiting delegation. The presentation sparked productive discussions and the exchange of ideas and best practices, further strengthening academic collaboration and advancing innovations in language testing and assessment.
