On Monday, October 5, 2026, Self-Access Learning Center (SALC) of Chulalongkorn University Language Institute, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Wutthiphong Laoriandee, Deputy Director for Academic Affairs, organized an English language learning activity entitled “English as a Career Instrument” for Chulalongkorn University students during the first semester of the 2026 academic year. The activity provided students with an opportunity to gain knowledge and insights through a lecture on professional experiences, practical knowledge, and hands-on practice in reading and presenting news in English.
The activity featured Ms. Mimi Grachangnetara, producer and English-language news anchor of the Radio Thailand, as a guest speaker. The speaker shared her professional experiences and insights into the practical use of English in the workplace, as well as approaches to developing English language skills in preparation for future careers.
