On May 15, 2025, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ekapon Chongsuwanit from the Faculty of Engineering at Chulalongkorn University, along with the CHULA AI development teams—CHULA GENIE and GOWAJEE—joined the event AI for Smart Admincourt: The AI-Driven Evolution of Justice – Building Smarter, Faster, and More Accessible Legal Systems at the Administrative Court in Bangkok. The event brought together experts and innovators to explore how AI can drive justice system transformation.
At the event, Asst. Prof. Dr. Chulaporn Kongkeo, Asst. Prof. Dr. Dittaya Wanwaree, and engineering students from the EZZAY research team conducted a roadshow to present their AI-based English writing assessment system. The team demonstrated the project’s development process and highlighted its educational impact, aiming to increase assessment accuracy, reduce teacher workload, and ensure fairness in writing evaluation.
This initiative marks the first step for the Chulalongkorn University Language Institute in integrating AI into English language assessment, paving the way for more innovative, efficient, and equitable evaluation practices in higher education.
